With average temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius (75 to 85 Fahrenheit), Revelstoke heats up and you’ll see this quaint mountain town in a whole different light.
Being surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, Revelstoke is a summer recreation paradise. Enjoy world class mountain biking, paragliding, fishing, rock climbing, and boating. Or, get up the alpine from Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks, which have networks of beautiful trails to explore.
In the summer, we like to beat the heat by whitewater rafting on the Illicillewaet River, or standup paddle boarding on Lake Revelstoke. We recommend not missing a round at the Revelstoke Golf Club, a championship golf course bordered by the Columbia River.
Live music nightly in the Grizzly Plaza entertains our town and visitors through the summer months and Saturday’s Farmer’s Market draws vendors from the surrounding centres, offering up a bounty of organic produce and local crafts and textiles. A true small town experience.
